Vaccine Passports - Do We Need Them?

The German word Fernweh is hard to translate. Fern means ‘far away’ and Weh is a sense of aching. The closest English word is wanderlust, the desire to wander, actually a word borrowed from German. Vaccine Registration Open: What You Need to Know

Since being told “you must stay at home” in March 2020, the road back to normality has been a long one, full of small incremental steps. Modern Lives Part III:The Language of Nature & the Power of Quiet – a Private Space for Connection

As the paradigms of our new reality shift around us, the changes we’ve become used to seeing in our surroundings begin to reflect in the linguistic world around us. We end this triad with a reflection on “The Language of Nature & the Power of Quiet – a Private Space for Connection”.

Fandemic: Following football during the pandemic.

After four years stuck down in the second-tier, Dundee United’s eventual escape from the Championship should have been a cause for celebration. Yet, supporters sadly weren’t there to watch the trophy held above the players heads, and nor could we be there to watch the Championship flag unfurled ahead of the opening day fixture against Tayside rivals St. Johnstone. Instead of a day of celebration at Tannadice, the opening day felt rather surreal.

Our Defining Crisis: COVID-19 and The Youth

I haven’t laughed in 6 months. This is the realization I came to when I started working on this piece. Sure, I’ve chuckled and giggled, but I haven’t just laughed in that relaxed way that tells you everything is alright. And I am sure that I am not alone in this. COVID-19 has impacted all of us from all angles…
